TABLE DISCUSSION 

Tone: serious and pessimistic 
Theme: expectations v reality as well as Jessica's opinion 
Mood: would be the same as tone that's what I feel but some hope as well 
Devices: some devices he uses are similes, a lot of metaphors and imagery 

Something I took away from our group discussion was how we all had similar and different thoughts of why he was writing this and what was the purpose for the reader to get out of like why was it pov of a man I jail and and him expressing how people from his background would be working hard and having ups and downs as well as him . That's what I took out of our discussion.

WE EAT SOCIAL MEDIA Notably, we can see from the author's use of diction,syntax,tone,and rhetorical strageties to develop his main arguments, are asserted well.   From the beginning, he introduces his tone of what he is feeling about this subject quite unsettled, this is because the subject is the Internet expanding to something more than electronics, social media, and "pictures" portrayed differently than they used to be. For example, before smart phones and the internet started to develop the only thing people had was "Polaroid or Developing cameras which you had to go through a process which took awhile and was quite expensive to have these images be developed",because of this later on you would show the family all the pictures in albums.
